e o terra segue aprontando com as lendas do rock que se apresentam no festival que eles próprios investem. como de praxe estava tudo lindo, o festival corria bem, sem reclamações em relação a organização, a transmissão pela internet também, aparentemente, corria sem sobressaltos. o problema, ao que parece, é mesmo com a parte jornalística da empresa.
não bastasse a capa do site diariamente dar destaque a notícias importantíssimas como a última ida da luana piovanni à praia, a falta de investimento no que tange aos jornalistas responsáveis pela cobertura do planeta terra também é capenga. assista a entrevista acima com iggy & the STAGES e veja com os próprios olhos. as entrevistas com as outras atrações do evento foram igualmente vergonhosas.
tudo bem que acho que a culpa nem é tanto da repórter que, ao que parece, foi jogada ali de última hora. mas sim de quem designou-a para tal função. mas que fique claro que isso não é desculpa para a falta de uma pesquisa rápida.
o terra é especialista em desperdiçar jornalistas. e isso não é de hoje. se ano passado o kid vinil ficou de animador de torcida, esse ano quem pagou o pato foi o gastão moreira. e olha que o fábio massari também andou passando por lá. ou seja, total falta de noção.
esperemos as pérolas do ano que vem.

clipe novo da sensacional banda gaúcha pata de elefante, que figura fácil no top 5 de melhores bandas desse país. o clipe é para a música “um olho no fósforo, outro na fagulha” que também dá nome ao último disco deles.
genial a sacada do vídeo que dá uma zoada naquelas pessoas que vão a shows de grupos instrumentais e reclamam que a banda não tem vocalista. sim, essas pessoas, infelizmente, ainda existem.

o vídeo acima é para promover o disco mais recente do kasabian. a idéia foi criar uma espécie de “football hero” onde os jogadores tocam a música “underdog” com bolas de futebol. neguinho que inventar um joguinho desses de forma viável fica rico.

yo, white stripes
adrian champion decidiu fazer um disco tendo como base a parte instrumental do white stripes mixada com os vocais de rappers como mos def, 2pac, jay-z entre outros. enfim, resolveu fazer seu “grey album”. ele mesmo explica:
“I was late jumping on The White Stripes bandwagon. But, when I heard “Doorbell” a few years back I became an instant fan. That raw, classic sound was so fresh to me. I went straight to iTunes and downloaded the whole album. It wasn’t long before I owned everything they’d ever released.
What really got me was that I wanted to sample almost every song. But, I couldn’t just shamelessly sample their whole catalog. Plus, I had just decided to move away from sampling and focus on writing original music. So, a remix project seemed like the thing to do, and the idea was born.
I started digging through my collection and fitting all the pieces together. My goal was to use only samples from The White Stripes and a cappellas from classic songs and my favorite emcees. And of course, I had to rap on one of the tracks myself, with my man Brian Jacobs on the hook.
So there it is, hip-hop fans, meet The White Stripes.
